Ok - so last time I checked in with my peeps I told you guys that I had not been to the doctor since my 3 year check up. Sooo - I had the 4th year check up and well, I had to get 3 shots. My Mom had told me in advance a few times (because she's cool like that with the honesty and me - she knows I can handle it ) and so I was ready. So check it - I took all three shots - one in each leg and then the arm and NO CRYING. The nurse was like and Mommy and Daddy were like So yeah -perfect check up. Of course Doc Levy had to go and say my BMI had increased (hello growth spurt!) and to watch it - but after I threw down "salmon" in response to her "what do you like to eat for dinner", and listened to my grade A diet - she backed off. Of course, hearing Daddy has high cholesterol - she wanted me back in to take blood and Daddy put the nix on that because he says EVEN IF I had the high cholesterol hereditary thing - they couldn't use any drugs or whatever for it till I was like 8 - so why? Anyway - those docs - always pressuring Mommy to more perfect than she is!

It's almost time. rocks dude!! Tonight Mommy took me in the red wagon around the block to check out all the lights in our neighborhood. It's nuts dude - they go insane around here!! We have all white lights and a little tree with colored lights on the porch - some polar bears on the porch and three trees in the yard. It's pretty cool - but Mommy and I are trying to talk the Da-Da into hanging lights from the top of the house too next year.

So school - I'm in pre-school II. I turn 5 right after the school year starts next year in October so I can't go until the year AFTER that. But it's all good - cuz when I turn 5 I FINALLY get to join KARATE class. CANNOT WAIT!!

So I'm still into STAR WARS, Spongebob, Handy Manny, Pucca (Mommy loves Pucca) - my Spanish is pretty decent as long as its colors - I am anxious to read but right now just spell out the letters and make Mommy tell me the words. I have like a zillion books. Ruthie and the Not So Teeney Tiney Lie, Giraffes Can't Dance, Night Cat and Knufflebunny are my newest faves.

I'm big. I'm 4 (just turned about two months ago mind you) and wear 5Ts and will be in a 6T no problem by spring. My Da-Da is big so that's just how we Archers roll. Mommy's still small.

My best friend is Robbie and I still hang with Jaxx. My girlfriend Audrey just disappeared from school. Mommy tried to hunt her down for me but it didn't work out. Oh well - I hang with Jillian now.

Mommy took me to see this super cool puppet show last week because we belong to the Dallas Children's Theater. I've seen Lillie's Plastic Purse and Santa and Strings - next I get to see Click Clack Moo and then Peter Rabbit. Plays are pretty cool and we always sit front row because we're season subscribers - pretty cool. Today we went to see all these miniature trains and tracks at Northpark Mall and then a puppet show there too.

I have REALLY got to talk to my people about updating this page more often. I mean - seriously - I am a VERY BUSY little boy and ALMOST four years old.

I'll tell ya what - I'll make a deal with my Mommy to update on my fourth check up and then maybe we can keep this thing more regularly updated.

In the mean time - I am still in private daycare and we spend all day reading books , doing different art projects , playing outside , taking field trips, eating ice cream, learning, and basically just driving the teachers insane while our parents work to earn more money to keep us in goldfish and apple juice.

My Daddy just put in hardwood floors in my room so it is really spiffy looking. I'm still into my hardcore giant jungle animal nursery - I think I'll be cool with it until I get to first grade and will want Mom to better reflect my current interests at that time.

I still get up around 6:30 am and am a huge fan of the DVR and tv. Don't even think about giving my Mommy any hassle about how much tv I watch either I interact with kids my age for 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, we go outside to play twice a day or more every weekend and she takes me to do things like the aquarium, zoo, park, shop, et cetera - and then we play games, do art at home, cook together, and read books every day and night. So if I want a little Spongebob after school or in the mornings to chill out - for goodness sake - let me have it!

I still nap, but only if Mommy comes and naps with me in the big bed - otherwise I'll just chill on the couch for quiet time. I mean, I am nearly four - I'm not always needing a nap you know!

My favorite current snacks are graham crackers, turkey sandwiches (moved from grilled cheese to turkey thanks to Mommy turning me on to them at my favorite - Firehouse Subs), and as long as we go to the Farmer's Market on the weekends - I'll eat most veggies. Now I'm sitting at the big table and we have to turn the tv off during meal times. That was Daddy's idea.

My favorite books are the Alphabet books. You know - A to Z on dinosaurs, insects, bugs, butterflies, fish, etc. I am an EXPERT on icky bugs, frogs and dinosaurs!

I haven't been to see Dr. Levy since my three year old check up nearly 10 months ago. I'm just a healthy kid!

Hey everyone.

I realize it’s been like, well, a year, since I blogged. What can I say, 2 to 3 was a very busy year!

Today Mommy took me to my third annual check up, three months late. I hadn’t been to the doctor in a year! I measured at 40 inches and weighed in at 36 pounds. I’m in the 90th percentile for height and 75th percentile for weight. I basically was perfect. Dr. Levy told Mommy to “be proud” and that I was very articulate for my age with a great vocabulary. I clearly impressed her with my conversation skills and comfort in speaking with her. No shots, so that was cool. Mommy and I had to wait like half an hour to see the doc and read this crazy book about belly buttons. Basically I was in Mommy’s belly attached to her with this big cord and when I was born it was cut and then they gave me a band aid and then wah – lah – I had a belly button!! Everyone has one and it’s the mark your mommy connection was. Neat, huh? to the Mama.

I’m still at Primrose and it rocks. We play outside, do art, dramatic play, music, weather, etc. every day. Every Tuesday I have Play for Sport with Coach Lisa and we play a different sport. I’ve learned how to run properly, stretch, dribble a ball, play defense in hockey, hand off a football, etc. I love sports! Once a week is movie day and every month we have a party of some kind or pajama day or somebody cool comes to see us like the fireman with his cool truck, or the policeman with his neat motorcycle or the ice cream man and his truck full of ice cream. My current buds are the ones since the baby room – Jaxx and Jacob, and then there’s Davis and Tristan. Isis is my favorite girl there, she’s a princess with really dark skin and wavy hair. 

The home life is pretty great. Daddy and I play swords a lot and watch tennis, basketball or football on tv. I love tennis!! Mommy won’t let me watch all the music videos with him for some reason. Something about the girls. Anyway, Daddy takes me to the park a lot and roughhouses with me. He’s my favorite cowboy.

Mom rules. She picks me up every day and we play after school with art usually. I help her cook a lot now on my stool at the kitchen island. I love to cook but she won’t let me fry. I’m still pretty much a vegetarian. I eat low fat peanut butter and low fat American cheese and then some veggies, fruits and breads for the most part. Unless it’s a turkey hot dog, turkey sandwich meat or some tacos or bbq, I really don’t care for meat. Never have. 

I’m out of diapers during the day for the most part now. GEEZ – I’m not a baby you know!! You should see my underwear collection! I’ve got ALL the power rangers, superman, go diego, star wars and some basic red and blue too.  I was into superman underwear but now I’m all about the power rangers. I watch ALL the Power Rangers but Operation Overdrive is my favorite. 

Let’s see. I dig Rockstar Dad, Power Rangers, Dextor’s Laboratory, Scooby Doo, Avatar and of course my awesome movie collection! I have like 30 DVDs. I don’t really have a favorite and I still like Daddy’s STAR WARS stuff best. I can watch other stuff now like American Idol with Mom and Dad and stuff like that. I like music a lot. I have a ton of instruments and am REALLY good at the harmonica. I’m not just saying that either! Ask Mom!!!

I see my Gigi and Grandpa Grayson nearly every other weekend and love going over there. Gigi still has tons of kitty kats!! She’s really outgoing and fun like Mommy and Grandpa Grayson is just crazy!! He sorta scares me sometimes because, well, he’s a bit wild! I see Papa and Grandma Jackie too but not as often because they don’t live here. Grandma Jackie got me this big train set for
